The legendary move called “Moonwalk” was first displayed to the public at the twenty-fifth anniversaries when he performed “Billie Jean” to the public. It could have been named in this manner to emphasize that the display was out of the world and the man who exhibited it was out not ordinary. The public was mesmerized by his performance. But the perfectionist that the legend called Michael Jackson was he felt he had to further perfect the moonwalk though the audiences seem satisfied. He was yearning to make further fine-tunings to the move. He made further improvements but the Motown performance has remained etched in the audience’s mind as a landmark movement in music entertainment. However, a moonwalk is not rocket science and can be learned with methodical practice.
Let us see how to learn moonwalk though it’s not evident whether it can be done like the maestro did. Let us try to explore How to moonwalk like the legend. The first thing is to find the right set of tools to start attempting to moonwalk, let alone master it. How to Moonwalk: 1.) The most important tool to be in possession of is a pair of low grip shoes and not one with rubberized soles, which have greater friction against the floor. 2.) Begin with socked feet are easier to get the basics of moonwalk right since the flexibility factor and feel of the smooth surface will help the beginner to learn to moonwalk with a pair of low grip shoes. 3.) Next is to find the right sort of surface to practice the moonwalk. A polished floor will be a suitable platform to start since it offers less friction on the shoe’s sole. Make sure that both the feet are kept close to each other and it should be ascertained whether the left foot is marginally ahead of the right foot. If not it should be adjusted to be that way immediately. 4. The toes of the right foot should be exactly in line with half the left foot. We are set to practice the moonwalk now. Gently lift the left foot’s heel so that we are standing slightly ahead of the right foot similar to the way when we take a step. It should be noted that we should not move the foot but stay put exactly in the position it is currently in. 5.) Carefully the heel of the right foot should be lowered and the complete bodyweight should be shifted or propelled forward as if we are putting our complete weight on the right foot. Now gently drag back the left foot in such a way that the toes of the left foot are exactly in line with the heel portion of the right foot. 6.) The heel of the left foot should be slightly elevated above the ground at this point. When we drag back we should never try to push the left foot down since it will be an obstacle to gliding. 7.) The key lies in keeping at it continuously without losing interest and compromising on the duration of the practice sessions. The moves and steps advocated above have to be completed seamlessly and the rhythm should fall into place in such a manner that the movement should be done subconsciously without making a visible effort to perform them. 8.) Now carefully we should move the left foot a foot’s size away from the toes of the other foot i.e. right foot. 9.) After the left foot is displaced back to the starting position the heel of the right foot should be lifted up once more while simultaneously ensuring that the left leg is slightly but deftly bent at the knee. As this is done the earlier step which involved lowering the right foot and placing the entire weight on the right knee and drags back the left foot should be done. Tips: In order to moonwalk the individual should understand the basics of how to moonwalk? • Pay attention to the fact that both feet move in perfect harmony without any mismatch. • The whole thing needs to be rehearsed again and again till the moves are in perfect synchronization. • A hired person should be asked to adjudicate on the sequence of moves and judge the overall smoothness of the moonwalk. • If the proper practice is put forth easily a gravity-defying effect will be achieved giving the beholder a view as if the dancer is gliding across the floor in a levitated manner. • A pro moonwalker has arrived. Michael Jackson, the legend that he was, put in hours and hours of practice till he perfected his skills. He was a natural talent when it boiled down to dancing skills but he really slogged it out at the practice sessions to achieve the startling effects that he did on stage. Avoid: • Care should be exercised so as not to choose high heeled shoes, as it tends to affect stability while performing the moonwalk. • When the heel of the right foot is lowered the left foot should match up with equal speed so that there is no mismatch in speed. • It will take extensive practice sessions to get the perfect speed of movement and we need not flunk if we need not get it right the first time around as we are not the legend himself • Once the” kick” in the outward direction is mastered care should be exercised to ensure that the left foot is elevated but looks as if it is touching the ground. • Not any portion of the left foot should be raised higher compared to the other foot. Suggestions: Lose count on the number of videos that you watch on the way the king of pop Michael Jackson danced. This is the only solution to get elucidated about the panache that Michael had and why you need to have the same flair in an attempt to try to replicate him. Get this straight; there is only one sun, one moon, and of course one moon walker, the king himself. Long live the king’s moonwalking credentials and Long Live his eminence!

The small swimming baby on the cover for the album Nevermind is named Spencer Elden and was born July 9, 1991. The reason behind why the photographer Kirk Weddle used him was because the Kirk was a close friend of Spencer's parents. Elden’s parents were reportedly paid only $200, and the shoot lasted around 15 seconds.
