HOW TO EMAIL PHOTOS

INTRODUCTION 
In the past, the only way to send photos of family, friends, pets, vacations, or even new cars or other possessions had to be done through the mail or by physically delivering the photo to another person. Now, thanks to the advances in modern technology, computers can show you how to email photos in seconds instead of days. There are various ways on how to email photos to family and friends that may not be too difficult for even the beginner computer user.

SCAN AND SEND AS AN EMAIL ATTACHMENT 
The instruction manual of every printer/scanner/copier includes easy instructions on how to email photos using the scanning capability of the machine. The installation disk used to load the hard drive with the appropriate instructions pertaining to your machine probably included some type of imaging program to assist you in how to email photos.

Place the photo to be emailed on the scanner glass, close the cover, and press the appropriate button to begin scanning. A Save Photo command will appear on the computer screen. In order to save the scanned photo, click the Browse command, select where to save the scanned photo, and then click the Save button. Open the email address and email the photo as an attachment.

If the above does not work, there is another easy method on how to email photos that is similar to the above. From the Start menu on the desktop, select Programs. Then select Accessories in the list that appears. The list of accessories should include a program something like Scanner and Camera Wizard. Then just follow the instructions to scan and save the photo.

Photos on a CD is another way of how to email photos. Insert the CD into the correct drive of the computer, copy, and save the photo to the chosen file. The photo can then be emailed as an attachment. 

USE YOUR CAMERA PHONE 
Another wonderful advance in technology is the camera cell phone. Consumers can learn how to email photos using their camera phone if their phone has internet capabilities. The cell phone and computer both have USB connections that can be used with a cable to connect them. Once they are connected, photos can be emailed to any destination. Computer users that know how to email photos this way often utilize this method when emailing photos to various social networks.

Some cell phones feature flash memory cards so a person can store photos on these removable memory cards. These flash cards can then be moved to a card reader in the computer, copied, and saved. The person who knows how to email photos will then email them to the preferred destination.

CONCLUSION 
The tasks that used to take us hours or days to accomplish can be now be performed by computers instantly and efficiently. The clear, sharp quality of photos is not lost when the computer user knows how to email photos. There may be more sophisticated and complicated methods on how to email photos, but the methods listed here are simple enough for almost anyone to accomplish.
